Wang’s work is inspired by myths and legends, natural science, and mysticism.

She releases opposing qualities such as life and non-life, artificial and natural, chaos and order, yin and yang, male and female, from their finite states, and then recombines and harmonises them.

As a contemporary alchemist, she uses various techniques and media to create spaces of harmony.
